Autograss is ......

A non-contact motor sport taking place on a quarter mile oval usually between March and November. The track is laid out on a natural surface, with a fresh track starting off from grass - hence the name Autograss.

Due to the close nature of the racing, thrills and spills are never far away, with 12 different adult classes, ladies & men then add in 2 junior classes (age 12-16) there's sure to be something for everyone.

If you would like to know more, the best place to start is here, read a little further or call round at a race meeting - see the race dates page of this website, or check out the NEWS page for our next social / drivers meeting. Check out the gallery or the Car Classes page to see what some of the cars look like.

Autograss is ......

Spectacular to watch, with lots of sideways action, thrills and spills, close and fast, saloons and single seaters. Races run in quick succession, and although at a safe distance, YOU have the feeling that you are right in the middle of the action!

Autograss is ......

A family sport. It offers Men's, Ladies' and Juniors' (12 - 16yr olds) racing. It can involve the whole family (racing the same car), even Kids, Parents and Grandparents racing together.

Autograss is ......

A social sport, It is about the racing as much as it is about the socialising before, during and after a race meeting. Think about a barbecue, a chat with friends and a drink, a warm fire, kids playing outside.

Autograss is ......

Affordable, for the spectator - Getting an action packed day out for a fiver, and under 16s are free.

Aurograss is.....

Affordable for the drivers - Beginners can start with a car costing under £500 all the way through to top cars which may cost a five digit sum. There is a car and class for every budget; and there is plenty of information to help you to build your own car! (see the FOR SALE page for current bargains)

Autograss is ......

Easy to get started, with you are most welcome in the pits during the interval to take a look at the machinery and talk to everybody. Or join us at our club social / drivers meeting (see RACE DATES page for meeting dates). Get involved as a racer or as a club member helping to put things into action!
